Nadia: Yeah Sesame Street was (and continues to be) so cool. If I had kids, I'd be watching it along with them. Interesting to note, when I took my first trip to NYC last summer, I ran into a guy in an Elmo costume in Times Square. Both my friend and I were able to get our pictures taken with him. Better late than never. Hope the rest of your weekend is great!

Hi Tim,

Hard to believe that Sesame Street is 40 years old! Wow! We were lucky to be of the generation that had that show first. My favorites were Cookie Monster and Grover.

Yay for Sesame Street and for showing that learning can be fun!

Hi Lori: Yeah, I've really enjoyed the Google logos this week, as well. Very cool, very creative. I know what you mean about worrying about how my writing is being perceived. I heard an interesting thought at a seminar about this very idea earlier this summer...basically the person indicated that we should not be overly concerned about pleasing everyone in our writing and that 10 percent of the people out there are automatically not going to like what we are saying. Its an interesting thought. I don't know if that helps. I know I fight that battle all the time. Thank you, again for stopping by and have a great weekend!

Hey Tim,
Thanks for the video break! I haven't seen a segment from Sesame Street in forever. This brought back a lot of great memories.

I've been digging Google's logos this week, too. I loved Cookie Monster yesterday. ;)

I actually loved Oscar the Grouch. The cool thing about Oscar, is that people liked him even though he was rough around the edges - people liked him for just being himself.

Honestly, I think that's something I still think too much about, whether what I'm writing, blogging about, or what I'm saying will change how people feel about me.

I think I went a bit deep there, but Sesame Street memories do that to me. :P
Thanks for this, Tim!
