A Hearty Thank You!

December 28, 2009

As you can tell, things look different here.  Thanks to the great design work from my friend Lori at Jane Be Nimble, I have a new header.  It is something we have been working on for the last couple weeks.

The design is simple, yet elegant and it is pretty much exactly what I envisioned when I thought about having  a custom header. Actually, it turned out better than I envisioned. If you really want to get deep about it, that colorful 3D marble represents our brain, our “self” and it really ties into what I am about as a person and writer. I hope to continue on the topic of well-rounded living into 2010 and I still feel that my best is yet to come.

I just want to, once again, thank you Lori for your great design work, patience and especially your friendship and support here on the blogosphere. This is an awesome holiday gift and a great way to start an exciting new year!

Hi Tim!
You have excellent art direction capabilities! It was all YOU, Tim, all YOU – I was just the ‘tool’ to help you create what you LOVE. 🙂

I really enjoy your blog, Tim, and have very much enjoyed your friendship here on the ‘interwebs.’ I know you have big things awaiting on the horizon and I’m just itching to see where you’ll go next!

Thanks for helping me to find my 360 Degree Self, too. I’m all for well rounded living and what I like to term, cross-training one’s life, too.

Thumbs up to you, Tim, and cheers to an awesome 2010!

Hi Lori: Thanks for all of the great things you said in your comment and for helping me design and manifest the header. You have really taught me a lot about friendship and generosity. I think a cross-training, nimble approach towards life is a great thing and it will help us approach (and conquer) 2010 with the right attitude. I wish you an awesome 2010!

Hi Lance: Thank you for your good words and I second what you said about Lori. I’m pretty speechless, here, myself. I hope your holidays have been good and wish you the best in the new year if I don’t get a chance before the end of year!
