Hi Lori: I’m glad you enjoyed the video…I was working on a long-winded post about how I grew up watching the Blackhawks and how one year I attended more than 20 games with a college buddy. I was also going to mention how much fun I’ve had watching this team over the past couple years. But the video, a promo that’s been running on NBC, really says it all. One of the more poignant moments happened after the game when NBC analyst Jeremy Roenick, a longtime former Blackhawk player who never won the Stanley Cup, shed tears on live TV. He was one of my favorite players…and his reaction makes you realize that an opportunity like this doesn’t happen too often. For me, it was a pretty low key celebration but I’ll be hitting the parade tomorrow morning in downtown Chicago. Woo-hoo!!
